Los Angeles County Voters Approve Condoms in Porn
A measure requiring adult film actors in Los Angeles County to use condoms for all anal and vaginal sex scenes was approved by about 55 percent of voters, the Los Angeles Times reports. The City of Los Angeles had previously passed a similar ordinance. The AIDS Healthcare Foundation sponsored both efforts. The issue gained attention after porn actor Derrick Burts publicly disclosed in 2010 that he had likely contracted HIV on an adult film set. The Free Speech Coalition, a porn industry group, plans to challenge the law in court claiming such regulations can only be done by the state, not localities.

i LOVE this. it wont work, it will inspire similar efforts elsewhere, and the Federal lawsuits they'll inevitably inspire may either vindicate them (and further limit Freedom) or, more likely, strike them down n make the whole thing a huge waste of time. even still, it will produce 3 results. hatred of the AHF's Weinstein will intensify and spread, the more homophobic personalities in the LA hetero porn scene will be hoisted on their own petard...and natural sex will be further vindicated.

I only buy bareback porn.....end of discussion. I am like many with that preference in porn. That's where the majority of money is in the porn, especially the gay porn industries. Porn filmmakers understand this and will just move where they do their shoots. Another good-intentioned effort but yet another example of gov't over reach and over regulation.
