Mautner Project: The National Lesbian Health Organization has merged with Whitman-Walker Health (WWH), which specializes in LGBT and HIV/AIDS care, in Washington, DC, according to a WWH statement. Without interruption, the project will continue serving the health needs of women who partner with women, including lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. The groups cite diminishing grant opportunities for direct service activities as the reason for the merger. Leslie Calman, executive director of the Mautner Project, has moved on to serve as CEO of Engineering World Health, a global health organization.
