When He Can’t Afford a Mistress...

Zimbabwe’s economic crisis may have helped reduce the rate of HIV in part because men are unable to pay the costs of extramarital affairs, the Washington Post reports. Money troubles more commonly contribute to HIV rates, but in Zimbabwe, new infections have dropped as men report engaging in casual sex less often, having fewer girlfriends and being less likely to visit prostitutes.
