The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation awarded Nashville CARES a $10,000 grant that will go toward its food and nutrition services for people living with HIV, according to a Nashville CARES press release.

Nashville CARES is an HIV/AIDS organization that serves Middle Tennesseans living with the virus. It provides the only local food pantry for HIV-positive people, and last year, it served 100,000 meals.

Funds from the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation will go toward the Nashville CARES Care-a-Van Cruise and Food Pantry programs, which provide clients with home-delivered meals, canned and packaged foods, and other nutritional resources.
