A Home for HIV-Positive New Yorkers
In its Job Market section on April 27, The New York Times (nytimes.com) profiled Praxis Housing Initiatives, a nonprofit group that works to improve the lives of homeless New Yorkers living with HIV.
Praxis offers temporary housing for people in need, and also provides health and social services that can help positive people find long-term housing.
The organization recently held a resume-writing and job-interviewing session at the Riverside Hotel, one of the organization’s four converted hotel facilities that house nearly 400 Praxis residents across Manhattan.
