DC Seeks $1M From Nightclub Renovated With HIV Funds
The attorney general of Washington, DC, has filed a case against a local nonprofit that allegedly used HIV/AIDS funds to refurbish a nightclub, myfoxdc.com reports. Miracle Hands Inc. received more than $300,000 from the DC HIV/AIDS program to convert a warehouse into a job training facility for people living with HIV/AIDS, but the required conversion never occurred and the job training facility never opened.
