NIH Gives University of California $3.4M for HIV Aging Study
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has given $3.4 million to researchers at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, to study successful aging in people with HIV, according to a university statement. The study will be the first large-scale investigation of successful aging in adults ages 36 to 65 who live with the virus. Dilip Jeste, MD, and David J. Moore, PhD, are the principal investigators.
