NMAC National Think Tank of HIV Treatment Education
A new report details the results of a national think tank to improve HIV treatment education, health literacy and wellness. The National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC) convened the meeting in Washington, DC, last April. Recommendations include: forming partnerships with coalitions involved in HIV awareness; engaging community groups and training networks; encouraging coalitions to highlight the experiences of people with HIV; advocating for new funding; and supporting leadership by people with HIV.
