National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day 2013

Wednesday, March 20, is National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NNHAAD). The commemoration highlights the effects of the virus on American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians in the United States. NNHAAD urges Native people to learn more about HIV/AIDS and its impact on their community. Events promoting HIV prevention and testing are taking place nationwide.
