Porn Actor Who Tested HIV Positive Is Actually Negative

An unidentified adult film actor who tested HIV positive in August has been retested and is HIV negative, The Associated Press (AP) reports. The initial positive test result temporarily caused the porn industry to voluntarily shut down. The Free Speech Coalition, a porn industry trade group in California, says that production can now resume. The porn industry was similarly shuttered in 2010 after porn actor Derrick Burts tested HIV positive. The Free Speech Coalition is working on a database to track testing of sexually transmitted infections among porn actors.
