Pos or Not?

She’s 20, majors in sociology, hangs out with her sorority sisters and loves cats. But you won’t find her bio and pics only on MySpace or Facebook. The woman, who identifies herself by her first name, Grissel, shares her story on PosorNot.com, a game that dares players to guess whether its real-life characters are HIV positive or negative. Created by mtvU and the Kaiser Family Foundation in partnership with POZ, the site aims to demonstrate that you can’t tell whether people are HIV positive merely by looking at them and a short summary of their life. The site has already had 400,000 visitors. How many minds were changed? Some 400,000 and counting…
