As part of a nationwide AIDS fund-raising initiative taking place today, restaurants in San Diego will donate 25 percent of their food and liquor sales to local AIDS service organizations, Fox 6 News reports (fox6.com, 4/24).
According to the article, money raised by Dine Out for Life will benefit HIV/AIDS-related programs provided by the San Diego LGBT Community Center, which serves over 16,000 people living with HIV in San Diego.

Here in Phoenix we dined out at restaurants that donated 100% of their sales to local ASO's. Cheers!
"I'm HIV positive and diabetic (as well as have high cholesterol) and some of my meds specify taking them with 'high fat foods' which I have to do twice a day. I've eaten as healthy as possible, but when it comes to high fat foods, I am in a quandary...about what to eat sometimes..."
