Sequestration Cuts HIV/AIDS Programs as Clients Increase
A survey by The AIDS Institute (TAI) shows HIV care is suffering under the federal budget cuts known as sequestration while the number of clients at AIDS service organizations (ASOs) are increasing, according to a TAI statement. Domestic HIV/AIDS programs have been cut nearly $380 million.
