South Carolina Sex Offender Allegedly Exposes Minor to HIV
A registered sex offender in Georgetown, South Carolina, was arrested August 19 for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old and exposing him to HIV, reports NBC affiliate WCBD.
According to authorities, a tip from an anonymous caller led them to the minor. Investigators said that 30-year-old Phillip Wayne Parsons and the 14-year-old have known one another for about a year and a half and that the alleged sex acts occurred in the past several months. Deputies have charged Parsons with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, lewd acts on a minor and exposing another to HIV.
Parsons has been registered as a sex offender in Georgetown County since December 1, 2005, following a conviction of criminal sexual conduct with a minor from January 1, 1995.
He is currently being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center under a $50,000 cash-surety bond.

Are these dates & ages correct?
If this man is 30, he was convicted at age 16, assault probably occured whwn he was 15.
How old was the minor?
two 15 yr olds having consentual sex is different from a 15yr old assaulting a 6yr old.

Okay, so AIDSMEDS do you guys want us to have sympathy for the sex offender? Is he the REAL victim in all of this? Shall we start a fund to get him bail money?
