Street Wize, a Washington, DC, community-based organization, held two “Go Gorilla” youth outreach events one each on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. On Friday, Street Wize’s “Go Gorilla” and Metro Teen AIDS had a successful “Teen Supreme” Event at the Trinidad Recreation Center in northeast DC where over 100 youth came out to have fun and took a HIV test. On Saturday, the “Go Gorilla” street team distributed over 1,500 condoms to DC youth at the LUX Lounge night club on New York Avenue in DC. Click here for a video from the night and see below for pictures.
