TB Remains Deadly for HIV-Positive People Worldwide
More than 4,000 people with HIV die every day around the world because of tuberculosis (TB), according to a World Health Organization study reported by aidsmap.com. The study found that most people worldwide coinfected with HIV and TB are not getting the treatments they need. However, the study does show significant increases in HIV testing of people with TB.
