ViiV Healthcare is expanding its Positive Action U.S. Initiative to four more states in the South, according to a ViiV statement. The initiative links HIV-positive people with care in order to enhance treatment adherence and delay disease progression. The goal of the expanded program is to continue reducing HIV/AIDS care and treatment disparities among African Americans and Latinos in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The program was piloted in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.
