2011 National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS
The 2011 National Week of Prayer for the Healing
of AIDS is being commemorated March 6 to 12. The Balm in Gilead is the national
coordinator of this interfaith event. The purpose of the week is to bring
attention to the role of faith communities in HIV/AIDS prevention, education,
service and advocacy. Related events will take place across the country.
