Yale Researchers Create HIV Prevention iPad Video Game
Yale University researchers are creating a video game for the iPad as an HIV prevention tool for at-risk youth of color, Yale News reports. Play Forward: Elm City Stories will be an interactive world where players using avatars face challenges and make decisions. The players will see how their choices affect their lives and will be able to go back in time to make different decisions that lead to better outcomes. The researchers believe that players will learn skills to help them avoid situations that increase their HIV risk.
