AIDS Group Calls for $7.3 Million Refund From Zimbabwe
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is demanding that Zimbabwe return $7.3 million of $12.3 million dollars in donations it claim were misused, The New York Times reports. The article did not mention how the funds were misspent.
Jon Liden, communications director for the Global Fund, said the Zimbabwean government promised to return the money by Thursday. The fund will decide Friday whether to grant Zimbabwe’s request for more money. The Zimbabwean government officials were not reached in time for this release.

Why even consider giving more $ when they already have misspent prior funds? Keep the $ here in the USA we need it here as our citizens are dying here and now on US soil.
