Supporters of the No Condoms as Evidence bill say taking away condoms poses a public health threat. The New York Police Department opposes the legislation because it believes the proposed law would hurt their ability to prosecute pimps and sex traffickers. San Francisco and Washington, DC, have stopped using condoms as evidence.
