South African Sex Ed Lags Behind Other African Countries
South Africa is behind other African countries when it comes to sex education in schools, according to the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Youth Index by the International Planned Parenthood Federation and reported by Business Day. The survey shows that 14 percent of youth in South Africa learned about sex in school compared with 17 percent in Zimbabwe, 21 percent in Namibia and 26 percent in Nigeria.
