Proceeds from the auction of Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry collection, which is estimated to be worth $150 million, will likely be donated to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) and amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, the New York Post reports. Her estate is estimated to be worth more than $600 million. In 1985, Taylor was one of the founders of amfAR, which funds research. In 1991, she founded ETAF, which funds direct HIV/AIDS services and complements the work of amfAR.
