U.K. Pastors Tell Young Church Members to Stop HIV Meds
A few Pentecostal pastors in England are pressuring young HIV-positive members of their churches to stop taking their antiretroviral treatment, BBC News reports. The Children’s HIV Association surveyed a small group of doctors and other health providers. Among those who heard anecdotal evidence of such instances, some of the stories included pastors telling patients they would be healed by prayer.
