September 2013: The Voice

In 1983 a group of people living with HIV met at an AIDS conference and drafted The Denver Principles--a manifesto that is the foundation for the HIV self-empowerment movement. The Denver Principles outlines rights and responsibilities for people living with HIV and provides recommendations to health care professionals, family and friends dealing with those who are HIV positive.
