Mr. Hawaii, I understand completely what you mean, because they have also discriminated against people who live in the rural areas. Most people can’t afford to live in the larger city and have a greater crisis with loneliness and finding adequate medical treatment. I have to drive 3 hours one way to a larger city to get my medical care. I just went through my battle with cancer and am 50 in 2 months.I have already had a Double bypass and 2 stents. I have been positive since 1987, discrimination

It sounds like a great idea. Those of us lucky enough to survive the AIDS crisis of the 80s & 90s face a whole set of new and unexpected health issues. The first thing I noticed about the list of groups receiving the grant money is that absolutely none of them are available to HIV+ seniors living here in Hawaii. What's up with that? We don't deserve assistance? We don't matter?
