Hype over nothing, its not news worthy at all.
The first paragraph says that a needle used on a previous patient was used on this man. But the second paragraph says that the nurse used a fresh needle on him. I'm confused... Anyway, although thousands if not millions of HIVs can fit onto a needle tip, that does not mean that there would have been thousands or millions on any needle previously used on a patient who is said to be HIV+. HIV is very hard to find in blood. It supposedly can't be seen with an Electron Microscope unless PCRed.

Okay Im a diabetic, when using a injectable pen how do you expose someone to hiv, you have to cock the pen and change the needle tip once cock and used you have to recock the pen, so was the needle tip reused? It is impossible to get blood in the pen its a oneway injectable. Now the nurse or Doctor could have prepricked themselves then exposed the patient with their tainted blood. All injections are logged on the chart hows the son involved?
