Right on Micheal Weinstein, for this is good leadership in proposing this 20 percent in price reduction and I am all for it. I also wish it would be open to all to see in the real prices that is paid by our government with the People's moneys and posted on an open web page for all to see. It would be great if the other HIV leadership would get behind this Ask for life. Is any other National AIDS Group other than AHF going to lead to help their community? If so, let us all see it in writing.

What about those who don't qualify for ADAP and lack coverage for these outrageously expensive drugs? Will the savings be shifted to increased prices for them? It seems as if AIDS activists are oblivious to this being a problem of not just the poor. Just because your income is 300 or even 500% of the poverty level doesn't mean that you can afford $15,000 a year in drug costs (and this doesn't even include other medical and dental expenses, and non-subsidized housing).
