AIDS United has made 10 new grants to HIV/AIDS groups through its Access to Care initiative, according to an AIDS United statement. The Social Innovation Fund provided the funding for the grants to support “innovative community-based programs.” The grantees will develop mobile engagement teams, handheld technology, women’s care and telemedicine. The grantees include AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Montgomery AIDS Outreach, St. Louis Effort for AIDS, AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, Washington AIDS Partnership, AIDS Project Los Angeles, Amida Care, Center for Health Justice, Christie’s Place and Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta.
