It should not have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to send 100 employees.. I have gone to conferences for a lot less money.
Wonder if Tom Coburn feels the same way with all other conferences.....
One wonders what Tom Coburn's real concerns are here. The Republicans are notorious for their lack of understanding, care and concern in regard to HIV/AIDS issues. As Tom Coburn if he voted in favor of giving himself (and the other Senators) a pay raise? These follks get unbelieably good health care insurance for themselves and their families for the rest of their lives. Maybe he's trying to save the conference money so that there will be plenty for his benefits.
