I'm very confused by this article, as it clearly states DRINKING ALCOHOL WHILE TAKING THIS MEDICATION MAY INTERACT WITH LIVER FUNCTION. As higher doses of multi-vitamins do because they are broke down in the liver. Mostly, it is favorable to not miss your doses and if you MUST drink. Do so by taking your medication in the morning and drinking at night or the other way around. Just leave a GAP between them. I would NOT suggest stating that it is OK to drink and take HIV medication or ANY.
My doc's told me med's utilizes the liver extensively and so does alcohol. I thought that was a good enough reason to skip or stop since I'm still fighting a battle on being alcoholic.
