These days we should assume that everyone has the virus and protect ourselves. I'm 18 years positive and will not have sex with anyone who isn't. My rule until there is a cure. But how many are saying that they are negative when they know differently. Check out the dating ads, or better still, DON'T. Keep your nighty down or take precautions and be there for the cure. IMHO

Well, it's the law to disclose, though how often do people break the law if they think they can get away with it? I would say the stronget argument to get people to disclose their status comes down to an issue of personal integrity. I am positive and I have had a lot of anger because someone did not disclose to me. And now I have to act better than that person did and I am just supposed to get over it? I answer first to my conscience, but I feel sorry for this man who was just too scared.

It's our responsibility to tell of our HIV/AIDS status potential sexual partners.I did after I was diagnosed.I would NOT want to pass this on to another person, and have them having to deal with the same things my wife and I have had to and still do, or worse.

While I was in the Navy (1964-1968), I discovered gay bars because of the Shore Patrol "off limits" list. The Universal Code of Military Justice was very strict and inflexible about EVERYTHING, including same-sex conduct, stating, "Penetration, no matter how slight, is sufficient to complete the offense."
