Activists in Biloxi, Mississippi, held a protest demandingan increase to HIV/AIDS services from the South Mississippi AIDS Task Force(SMATF), WLOX reports. The small group of protesters alleged that SMATF had notwritten a successful grant in the past year. Protesters also asked for accessto a peer counselor. The SMATF board president said she has talked with clientsabout their concerns and that the executive director has received at least sixgrants during the past year.
