given the nature of their use and the novelty of their tech, many years of especially intensive and varied safety testing will be needed to determine if any effects occur from accumulating silver nano-particles in the body...but if safe, this could have a FANTASTIC use as a microbicide in lube. also, i would be wary of spreading nanotech too fast...it may yet do more harm than good. btw, i hope people actually get to read this...for about a week, this link was broken on the poz.com front page.
