Production of Durex condoms has dropped between 50 to 60 percent because of a spat with a manufacturer in India, The Wall Street Journal reports. The supply from India stopped in May because of an undisclosed conflict between Durex manufacturer Reckitt Benckiser and its Indian joint-venture partner TTK Lig. Durex is the world’s largest condom manufacturer, producing 42 percent of all condoms worldwide. As a result, the shortage could affect more than one fifth of the world’s condom supply.
