The International AIDS Society (IAS), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for AIDS Research have launched a new round of grants for their joint research program, Creative and Novel Ideas in HIV Research (CNIHR), according to an IAS statement. Grants will be given to researchers exploring issues such as long-term survival of people living with HIV, control of viral reservoirs and the search for an HIV cure. Awardees will be funded for up to two years with up to $150,000. The application process is now open on the CNIHR website at cnihr.org.
