There is something more to this than meets the eye. GAGA was "inspired"? Sounds like PR folks. "Sex" is not cerebral and neither is the backlash of sociopolitical circumstances like disparity, lack of opportunity, and low self-esteem; all of which provide better insight to the realities of sexual behavior. A person preoccupied with career, stardom, and "paparazzi" may be distracted enough to claim "celibacy," but acknowledging realistic circumstances better serves a viably reasoned perspective.
Lady Gaga is a young person, that young people will listen to. Be true to you! Rock on my sistah!

After 13 years of celibacy, it's not always "okay" but if you're looking for more than just sex, I guess you have to prioritize. There's an old saying, "Nobody wants you when you're old and gay." I think we can add, "and have AIDS" to that one. Still, I'd rather be celibate than be with the wrong person.
