I quit watching MTV when the decent music video's stopped. I do believe though, MTV is putting people in harm's way. It doesn't matter about waiver's or consent, they know they are putting young peole at risk. MTV might be doing "the right thing" by education and the waiver's. But tell me, how many actually listen? How many "out here" listened, and thought it wouldn't happen to them, until it did?
That takes a lot of nerve for MTV to exclude people with HIV and AIDS from their show. Their most memorable season was San Francisco and the plight of Pedro Zamora. Glad I quit watching MTV years ago.
MTV are not your parents nor your teachers, but then again it is called Real World, isn't that common sense.

Why is this even news? MTV should not be responsible for people's personal decisions. Unless there is coercion involved, why would MTV be liable if one of the cast members had unprotected sex and caught something?
