The Navajo Nation is made of great people. I lived on the reservation for 3 years in the 70s and as much ad I hate to say, alcohol was a problem with many. Once we drank, we were so carefree and all we wanted to do was have fun. Perhaps HIV awareness should be taught with Alcohol awareness programs. The larger cities on or near the reservation, Window Rock, Farmington and Gallup, need to step up their HIV education to the younger Navajos.
