Does it really matter WHERE or HOW HIV started? It's here. It's infected millions; killed millions and continues to be a World Public Health Hazard that is continuing to go un-checked. An "AIDS-free Generation" CAN be a reality. But we as a global society need to face the demon and say the word, "AIDS". Silence [still] = Death.

Sounds very interesting and educational. I will say though, that if Patient Zero would have kept his pants zipped, HIV would not have spread so fast in the US or the Americas. In San Francisco,in the 80's there were dozens of places where homosexual men would go and have multiple sex partners each night. Conscidering that and that many, not all, homosexual men are "obsurdly sexually active".In one weekend, 10,000 people could have been infected.1980,s, NY,LA,SF and "GAY" cancer.Thx Ronald Reagan

I'm glad it is being proven that HIV has been around alot longer than previously thought. My boyfriend is HIV+ and got it from his mom through birth and his mother got it from his father who got it during a medical procedure in Kenya in the early 80s. It is important that these key points in the history of HIV are uncovered.

I hope that this book gets into every school library and is read. Maybe then we can end AIDS discrimination or at least show how wrong beliefs help spread HIV.

I am glad this was told for years I felt so dirty having HIV. When it was given to me through a night of unwanted sex. I try and educate my friends and colleagues. But it seems the hetro community and more the gay community is so judgmental. The things I hear from my own friends on HIV and how they can't get it. They have no clue about me. How can one defend something when so many others are kicking you down. I hope this book sheds some light

What a great book and much needed I remember the 1980's when HIV/aid came to light . Horrible times ,comments ,fear ,about gay people was wide spread every place I went l This story needs to be brought to light and explained I'll be buying this book when I can and I will discuss it openly to all my friends who are HIV + or not . Thank you for your research that effects us all
