So glad the trial used Viramune. That is such a good drug that was so underutilized, I believe because the manufacturer did not promote it properly. It's as potent as Sustiva with none of the psychiatric side effects. It's about time!

Always had 2 questions regarding truvada as PreP 1. Why test for antibodies, which do not come up positive during the 3-6 month "window period" when an HIV RNA test will detect virus BEFORE antibodies develop? 2. If you are taking Truvada as PrEP, and positive partner is resistant to Truvada, how are you still protected?
