I do not support prostitution; however I do support actions to promote safe sex. Stating that agencies that provide condoms could loose funding if their clients have sex for money is preposterous. Putting lives in danger will not detour the oldest profession known to man. I support protected â??encountersâ?. In the long run it will cost the government more money treating those who become infected with STDs. Limiting agencies in their plight to protect individuals will not detour people from paying for sex. It will only take funding from those who need education and protection.

How ironic! ... We can't even get Congressmen to promise to not "promote or support prostitution" ... My guess is that members of Congress and other government officials are probably the core financial engine of the sex industry in Washington DC!

I feel that they should provide sex workers with condoms, I mean the "purer than the driven snow" act needs to stop.
