Beginning June 3, The Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington, DC, will commemorate 30 years of AIDS with a three-part display and accompanying website, according to a Smithsonian Institution statement. Highlights include panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt, posters for the Academy Award–winning movie Philadelphia and a copy of former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop’s 1986 report on AIDS.
