Quite frankly, I don't care what the pope or the catholic church has to say about things they are in total ignorance about. They're not even very good at religious things let alone medical. Condoms do prevent transmission of HIV and therefore saves lives. Those of us who think for ourselves and don't rely on others to make decisions for us to follow, know that the catholic church is totally out of touch with the reality of HIV/AIDS.
