I started Triumeq last year and within two (2) weeks I was experiencing vision problems. I went to the Opthomalogist who ran numerous tests, including MRI's, tests for MDand MS, and Cat Scratch Fever. After weeks of tests and daily IV's of mega doses of Steroids and AntiBiotics - it was determined the ONLY thing that could have permanently damaged my Eyesight. I have permanant Optic Nerve damage. I have contacted GSK about this incident but, have not heard back from them.

This product was to be better than Stribld, was on Atripula before. I have had nothing but sever Cramps, Low energy, extream mood swings. Nothing like having a Charlie horse all over your body. I take right before bed due to taking in the morning you will want to sleep all day long. If they are paying my doctor to prescribe this to patients they better be paying well cause he may lose a patient if he doesn't take me off it. I think more who take this should also post their results

Triumeq, has been a big winner in my book. I started taking this drug last September 2014 and have had no side effects. I have been HIV+ since 1997, and have taken many drugs over the years. I am so glad to have lived long enough for the wonderful strides in HIV meds. During my HIV+, I recovered from Lymphoma Cancer and HEP C treatment. I am now 54yrs old and going strong to keep living until there is a cure in the future. My lover died in 1997 after effecting me in 1989.

I can't answer your question, yet, Kathlyn. But I will let you know my personal results. I started Triumeq 3 days ago, previously treatment naive. Day 1 caused a flash of loose bowels, but not severe. Day 2 was uneventful. Day 3 I had a little constipation, but it soon resolved. I was quite irritable Day 3, but I was constipated, and was similar to irritability I've suffered before from constipation. I'll try to keep you posted when blood work is done in about a month.

Good Day! I am a pharmacist and would like to inquire about the new once a day pill Triumeq. I have a patient who is taking truvada, lexiva and norvir for a the longest time and doctor decided to replace these 3 drugs with triumeq. He asked me if triumeq is comparable with the effectiveness of those 3 drugs that he is on. How long does it take to work and if there is a possibility that he will be resistant with the drug. Do you have any information about it?
