Outlandish. Ladies have sex with someone called the Gangsta of Love and Sweet Sexy Sensation and THEY have no accountability in the act? THEY could have easily insisted on a condom, but nooo. I can't help but wonder about THEIR motivation. Would it have made a difference if he disclosed? Maybe he did. It's just easier to blame the guy with the disease than think, "Hey, I had a role in the consensual sex." 32 YEARS?! Laws had better catch up to reality soon or the camps will be next.

HIV shows up in the blood within 13 weeks - there is no way any of his 'victims' are still within the time period where they could test positive. I believe in disclosure (when it is safe for you to do so). I also believe everyone is responsible for keeping themselves and their partners safe. How is he being charged with harming these women, when in fact nobody was 'infected'. I believe charges need to include intent to infect - was that proven?

It looks like straight people have the same irresponsibilities as some gays. One, they won't use a condom and two, they won't be honest about the dangers of having unprotected sex. We are not so different after all, eh?

We are responsible for our own health, and should believe that everyone with whom we are intimate is HIV +, until proven otherwise. If this isn't the case each intmitate contact, HIV will the diagnosis that you will be very familiar with on a daily basis. It is not OK to hide one's, but it also is not ok to allow someone else to take your health with one act and then take on a victim role.
