Christopher Glazek, a 2007 graduate of Yale University and a senior editor at n+1 magazine, has launched the Yale AIDS Memorial Project, a series of tributes to memorialize about 450 students, professors, alumni and staff members who have died of AIDS-related complications, The New York Times reports. As a 27-year-old gay man, Glazek conceived of the project after personally identifying with several Yale alumni who had died of AIDS. The initiative has received $50,000 in grant money to create a website and fund a new round of tributes.
