A Zimbabwean court freed on bail four Americans arrested Thursday for the illegal distribution of donated HIV/AIDS medicines without having proper licenses or the supervision of a pharmacist, The Associated Press reports. The court ordered them to pay a $200 bail, surrender their passports and live at their Mother of Peace Orphanage outside Harare until a September 27 trial. The Americans are volunteers with the Allen Temple Baptist Church AIDS Ministry in Oakland, California, and brought a four-month supply of antiretroviral drugs for about 800 people. The church said it has worked in the region for a decade without licensing problems.
