I have had an undetectable viral load for years. I recently switched medications and the medication had a bad effect on me. I had to wait a month to see the doctor to get new regimens. After a month of not taking meds my viral load jump from undetectable to 35000!

What the heck kind of fool is the Dr running this? It's been done on several occasions and leads to drug failure, greater mutation and in worse case senerios; DEATH! I'm one of the few left who knows exactly how I was infected, when and how far out from patient zero. I'm from the 4th ring of infected and have seen EVERYTHING coming down the pike and Drug Holliday's have been PROVEN to be far more detrimental then Anything else. It must be nice to get paid to screw with people's lives.

With the blessing of my doctor I stopped taking my medications for over a year. My viral load never did rebound but my t-cell started to drop to around 200 so he ask me to start them back and I did. My t-cells have not been over 350 during my many years of treatment. I was diagnosed in 1990 and had no t-cells at all back then. Since 1997 my t-cells vary between 250-350 but I have been undetectable the since 1997. Any thoughts or comments on this?
