It doesn't matter if you like it or not, you have to take your meds and like any medical treatment you have to have insurance. The meds are so expensive and I don't understand how anyone can gamble with whether or not they want to adhere to their treatment. You don't take them and your likelihood of living a normal life goes way down. Quit bitching about it and do what needs to be done. Your weren't complaining when you contracted it.

Some of us are not willing to take a pill everyday for life. It's like a ball and chain keeping us mentally beat down. Drug holidays are a must for some of us who are willing to risk ART resistance. I'm finding that some doctors just don't have any empathy when it comes to healthcare matters. Their only concern is transmission of HIV, not the lives we have to live with it!
